I haven’t posted much about this little one lately. He’s getting some chubby cheeks now, but like most babies, still does what babies do: eat, sleep, and poop! He even smiles, and it’s the cutest thing ever!

When my grandson was first born, my littlest one couldn’t wait to see him, but because he’s too young, he had to wait until the baby was home from the hospital. He was so excited to be able to hold him in his lap. The medium boy wasn’t quite as eager.
It’s not that Michael didn’t want to have anything to do with the baby (which is far from how his older brother felt when he was born!), it’s that he was so nervous that he would drop him that he didn’t want to take any chances. His words after being asked if he wanted to hold the baby were “I’ll wait till he firms up a bit”.
Apparently the baby is “firm enough” now. It’s awfully cute to see this tall and lanky teenager actually eager to hold his baby nephew. He likes to play with his feet and talk about how he’ll take him fishing when he’s old enough to walk and hold a rod. That will be fun to see!
